A hardy plant with magnificent ruby purple foliage. Tall delicate heads of small white flowers rise above the foliage in Spring.
Cultural
A frost hardy species that will thrive in any reasonable garden soil. We advise an annual application of good quality fertiliser in Spring, with mulching and watering during the drier months especially when the plant is establishing itself. If the foliage becomes damaged it can be cut back in Winter before the fresh Spring growth.
Landscape Uses
An excellent foliage plant that is ideal for mass planting in a semi-shaded position. It can also be used very effectively in and around trees and shrubs and will tolerate full morning sun.
Dimensions
Height to 30cm
Spread to 50cm
