Kalette is a new name for a cross between Kale and Brussel Sprouts which was release in 2010 after 15 years of plant breeding.
They combine the best flavours of brussels sprouts and kale, resulting in a mild, sweet and nutty fusion. Kalettes are an incredibly versatile vegetable, they can be eaten raw, baked, stir-fried, grilled or steamed.
