Hibbertia Boomers
11/20
Hibbertia pedunculata
"Boomers" is a beautiful dwarf hardy Aussie groundcover
with a prolific display of golden yellow flowers held above
soft green foliage.
It is an adaptable species from the southern NSW flowers sporadically throughout Autumn, and heavily in Winter and Spring.
Native bees and butterflies find this wonderful plant hard
to resist and will visit continuously throughout the flowering
period.
"Boomers looks great planted out as a border, amongst other
small groundcovers and shrubs, or makes an excellent pot
specimen using a premium Australian native potting mix. The
beautiful soft foliage is an added bonus when "Boomers" is not
in flower.
"Boomers' grows and flowers best in a well drained soil in a full
sun/part shade position. If the soil is poorly drained a raised
garden bed is recommended.
"Boomers" is a hardy plant tolerating dry periods and frosty
conditions. After establishment in the ground "Boomers" will
only require additional watering only during extended dry
periods.
