ACTINIADIA CHINENSIS is a deciduous, woody vine known commerically as the Golden Kiwi fruit which produces deliciously sweet egg-shaped fruit. In the wild the fruit can be any colour from clear to green to yellow and even red. The seeds have been collected from a golden kiwi fruit, but the nature of seeds is that it may not grow true to the parent, but the fruit will be sweet and delicious.
A male and a female plant is required for fruit production and with these plants being seed grown, sex will be unknown until flowering.
We recommend planting at least three plants for the best chance of having both sexes.
