Banksia New Dawn is a new form of the popular Coast Banksia, selected for its naturally compact, upright growth and exceptional landscape performance. Flowering from winter through to spring, it produces striking pale lemon flower spikes up to 15cm long that are rich in nectar, attracting a wide variety of native birds and beneficial pollinators. Its dense evergreen foliage provides valuable shelter for wildlife while its architectural form creates an impressive feature in gardens throughout the year.
Hardy, adaptable and easy to grow, this Australian native thrives in coastal environments and makes an excellent feature plant, screen or specimen for modern landscapes. The long-lasting blooms are also highly prized for fresh and dried floral arrangements.

Plant Care
Plant in a sunny position with well drained soil. Once established, Banksia New Dawn is highly tolerant of coastal conditions, salt spray, wind, light frost and drought. Water regularly during establishment, then only during prolonged dry periods. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain a dense compact habit and encourage prolific flowering. Feed with a low phosphorus native plant fertiliser in spring if required. An outstanding Australian native that combines spectacular flowers, exceptional wildlife value and year-round landscape performance.
