Callistemon Brogo Overflow is a compact, small-growing bottlebrush with numerous arching branches that create a beautiful cascading form. Its dark green foliage is complemented by attractive red new growth, while vibrant crimson bottlebrush flowers begin appearing in early autumn and continue for much of the year. Rich in nectar, the flowers attract native birds, bees and other beneficial pollinators, making this an excellent addition to wildlife-friendly gardens.

Exceptionally hardy and adaptable, Brogo Overflow thrives in a wide range of soils and conditions, tolerating both dry periods and occasional waterlogging. Its compact size and elegant form make it ideal for garden beds, feature planting, pots and low informal hedging.

Plant Care

Plant in full sun or part shade in well drained soil, although this adaptable variety performs well in most soil types. Water regularly during establishment, then only during extended dry periods. Brogo Overflow tolerates both drought and occasional waterlogging once established. Lightly prune after flowering to encourage a dense, bushy habit and prolific future flowering. Feed with a low phosphorus native plant fertiliser in spring for healthy growth and outstanding floral displays.
