Grevillea New Blood is a compact, spreading shrub selected from a Grevillea breeding program and prized for its prolific flowering and exceptional hardiness. The rich deep red spider flowers are produced over many months and are packed with nectar, attracting honeyeaters and other native birds to the garden. Its dense, low-growing habit makes it an excellent groundcover for banks, borders and waterwise landscapes, while also helping to suppress weeds.

Plant Care

Plant in a full sun to part shade position in well drained soil. Water regularly during establishment, then only during prolonged dry periods. Lightly prune after flowering to maintain a dense, healthy habit and encourage prolific new flowering. Feed with a low phosphorus native plant fertiliser during spring if required.
