PROSTANTHERA MAGNIFICA
THE MAGNIFICENT MINT BUSH
GRAFTED
Prostanthera magnifica is a showy, small garden shrub bearing profuse spikes of flowers held above delicate, aromatic, minty foliage. Flowering from spring through to autumn, honeyeaters, butterflies and native bees all find these delightful flowers hard to resist.
Grafted onto a hardy rootstock, Prostanthera
magnifica grows and flowers best in a sunny
well-drained position with ample air movement.
Alternatively Prostanthera magnifica makes a
fine pot specimen.
After flowering Prostanthera magnifica responds
well to an annual prune and feed with a slow
release native plant fertiliser. Once established
Prostanthera magnifica requires no extra
watering. Any shoots arising from below the
graft should be cut back flush with the stem.
