Ruta graveolens
A popular plant used as a cat deterent in the garden. The highly aromantic leaves are unattractive to cats. Folklore says that putting a rue plant at the front door deters people with bad intent.
The plant has blue/green leaves adding contrast to the garden. Plant in full sun to part shade, it will grow to 80cm tall by 1m wide. Cut back to keep compact and tidy. Very easy to grow
