This is the potting mix we use to grow our own plants, so yes, highly recommended. It is a mix of coir peat and pine bark. It is not fertilised so 1. you can tailor the mix to suit your individual plant needs 2. adding the fertiliser as you plant enures gaining the right amount of time out of the fertiliser (always put granule food on top of mix)
