DAVID AUSTIN'S FRAGRANT ENGLISH ROSES English Roses combine the charming forms and fragrances of old roses with the repeat-flowering nature of modern roses.
ASPECT
Choose a light airy position, preferably not overhung by trees.
PLANTING
1. Roses will benefit from a generous quantity of well rotted manure or garden compost and some rose food mixed into the soil prior to planting.
2. Roses like to spread their roots so prepare a good sized hole about 50cm across by 45cm deep.
3. Make sure that container plants are well soaked before planting. 4. After planting, firm the soil well but not excessively.
3. Water in well. It is important to keep plants well watered until they are well established.
