Plant Care

Plant in fertile, well drained soil enriched with organic matter. Position in full sun to part shade and keep soil consistently moist for best growth. Feed regularly with a vegetable fertiliser to encourage lush leafy growth. Protect from extreme heat to prevent premature bolting.

Harvesting

Harvest outer leaves as required for a continual supply, or cut the entire plant once mature. Young leaves offer a milder flavour while mature leaves develop a more traditional endive taste.
