BASIL GREEK

Maintains a compact, mounded shape with very small, highly flavoured & fragrant leaves and tiny white whorls of flowers. Especially suited to pots. Annual. 30cm

Harvesting: Harvest frequently to encourage new growth. Softer stems are delicious in casseroles.

Best Results: The more basil is harvested, the more it should be fertilised. Add lots of organic matter.Uses

Use leaves fresh or dried to enhance tomato dishes and in other cooking. The leaves of Greek basil are more stronger in flavour then other basils.

Companion: Plant near tomato & capsicum to improve growth. Or around the patio area to discourage insects.
