Helps prevent curling and distorted leaves in citrus trees caused by the citrus leafminer.
Citrus leafminer moths lay eggs on new leaves and the hatching grub then burrows inside the leaf. As the grub feeds, it leaves a silvery trail and causes the leaf to curl and distort. The eco-CLM Trap breaks this lifecycle by using a pheromone to attract male citrus leafminer moths and catches them in the sticky trap. Beneficial insects are not attracted to the pheromone.
