Ruvy Saltbush bears small, red berries with a crisp, salty seet flavour. Both fruit and leaves are edible, thouh leaves should be cooked before eating as they are rich in oxalic acid. Prefers full sun, but will grow in dappled shade and handles most conditions including saline soil, sandy soil, long drought periods, frost and coastal conditions.
A spreading bush with a height of up to 1m.
