Austral Garlic is an Australian grown variety.
Garlic is used as flavouring and has medicinal values.
It is also used as an insect deterrent when planted at the base of many plants.

Planting:
Plant in Autumn.
Divide the Garlic into its cloves and plant them 5cm deep in well worked, organic rich soil.in a sunny position.
Harvesting:
The Garlic is dug in the late Spring or Summer when leaves have turned yellow. Allow to dry off and harden before storing.
