Lomandra is a hardy native indigeous to VIctoria and NSW. If the foliage gets damaged in harsh weather, the plant can simply be cut back hard and it will resprout with fresh new growth.

Little Con
Lomandra confertifolia
A rare and unusual native Australian Lomandra growing into a small
rounded ball-shaped plant approximately 45cm x 30cm. Hardy and
tolerant to most soil types and will grow in full sun partial shade. Small
spikes of cream flowers are borne within the foliage in spring.
When required, 'Little Con' rejuvenates well with a general trim. Cut down to approximately 10cm from the base in early spring or autumn. Avoid cutting in mid-summer when heat stress may occur and losses suffered. In the garden 'Little Con' is ideal as a formal border, for mass planting or rockeries and is also proven performer in roundabouts and median strips. Apply a well balanced general fertiliser twice yearly for first few establishment years, thereafter annually.
