Prostanthera nivea, commonly known as Snowy Mint Bush, is a compact evergreen shrub admired for its fragrant foliage and spectacular display of pure white blooms. Once common throughout the woodlands of the Wyndham region and still found growing naturally in the You Yangs National Park, this attractive native is an excellent choice for indigenous and habitat gardens. The aromatic leaves release a refreshing mint fragrance when brushed, while the nectar-rich flowers attract native bees and other beneficial pollinators.

Plant Care
Plant in a full sun to part shade position in well drained soil. Water regularly during establishment, then only during extended dry periods. Lightly prune after flowering to maintain a compact bushy habit and encourage abundant flowering the following season. Feed with a low phosphorus native plant fertiliser during spring if required.
