Rhubarb Victoria is a perennial herb that enjoys a cool climate. It has large leaves and thick green stalks that are reddish near the base. Regular watering together with diluted liquid manure helps stalk formation. Plants should be lifted and divided every 4 to 5 years, best done during Winter months. Rhubarb is tolerant of shade and cold weather improves both the flavour and the red colouring in the stems. Maturity weeks Be patient! At least 7 months.
