Hardy and does well in a sunny indoor position. This unusual plant produces a large above ground tuber that will grow up to 20cm across in 20 to 30 years. The leaves are bright green with a furry underside and a bubbly texture on short stems. Bright orange/red tubular flowers appear once mature. Plant will survive extended periods of dryness.
