Plant in rich well drained soil improved with compost and organic matter. Raised beds are recommended in heavy clay soils. Position in filtered sunlight or part shade as foliage may burn in hot full sun locations.

For groundcover planting allow spacing of approximately 0.75m to 1.2m apart depending on the desired coverage effect. Keep soil consistently moist during establishment but avoid overwatering. Apply quality mulch around the root zone while keeping mulch clear of the main stem.

Prune lightly in early spring to maintain shape if required. Feed in spring with a quality general purpose fertiliser and repeat in mid to late summer if needed.
