Plant Care

Plant in a full sun to part shade position in fertile, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Ensure the bud union remains above the soil level when planting. Water regularly during establishment and during prolonged dry periods. Apply a quality slow-release fertiliser after planting and again when new growth appears each spring. Mulch well to conserve moisture and keep the root zone cool, ensuring mulch is kept away from the trunk. Prune lightly after flowering only if shaping is required.
