Parthenocissus tricuspidata (Boston Ivy) is a fast-growing climber used extensively to create a green wall or to cover outdoor structures. The Smith & Gordon form grown by Warners is a hardy and vigorous strain. Plant in full sun to part shade in well drained soils. Once established it is frost tolerant but will still need to be kept moist in the warmer months. Feed twice per year with a slow- release fertiliser and prune as required to keep growth in check.
