Aprostrate perennial with large sweet edible red fruit. Strawberries require well-drained rich soil, together with plenty of organic fertilizer and water to develop juicy fruit. A useful growing technique is to raise the beds and cover the soil with either plastic sheets or straw. Temptation is a quick maturing variety producing less runners and good quality fruit.
