Crowea Large Flower Form
Crowea saligna
Crowea saligna is a beautiful small growing Aussie shrub with a bountiful display of large pink star flowers held amongst soft green foliage.
It is an adaptable species from the east coast of Australia that flowers sporadically throughout Autumn, and heavily in Winter and Spring.
Native bees and butterflies find this wonderful plant hard to resist and will visit continuously throughout the flowering
period. Crowea saligna looks great planted out as a border, amongst other small groundcovers and shrubs, or makes an excellent pot specimen using a premium Australian native potting mix.
Crowea saligna grows and flowers best in a well drained soil in a full sun/part shade position. If the soil is poorly drained a raised garden bed is recommended.
Crowea saligna is a hardy plant tolerating frosty conditions. After establishment in the ground Crowea saligna will only require additional watering during extended dry periods.
